To get this picture I had to crawl on my hands and knees underneath the lowest branches of a pine tree just after sunrise. I had to enter the way the sunlight entered. The branches and needles of the tree kept almost all of the light out, but the sunlight was everywhere on the outside of the tree, and wherever there was an open space, the light shone through. The light of the sun was not totally blocked in this instance, but it can be blocked by thick clouds, unlike the light of the Son, which can never be blocked. We can turn our backs on it, but it is always there. Whenever we need the light of the Son, all we need to do is look toward Him. He will shine through to us because He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. On the darkest day of your life, the light of the Son will still be there. You can count on it.
Jesus Shines Through
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." (NLT)
