"Remember, it is a sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it. (NLT)
Don't Forget To Do Good
What a beautiful flower. What a beautiful picture. Wait a minute. That may be a beautiful flower, but it is not a beautiful picture. Something has been left out; something has been omitted. The entire beauty is present in the actual flower, but this representation is missing part of it. James tells us that our lives can be like that. There can be great beauty that God has created in us, but when we omit to do something we know we should be doing, the beauty fades; no, it disappears. Let's not omit love. After all, it is the primary focus of Jesus' message. I Corinthians 13:4-5 describes love, "Love is patient and kind. Love in not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged." (NLT) Again, let's not omit love.
