Sometimes Loud, Sometimes Soft
"And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice." (NKJV)
I took this picture at the suggestion of God. That's right, at the "suggestion" of God. He didn't come with the blast of trumpets, He didn't demand that I stop and listen to Him, He didn't tell me to take the picture. I was taking pictures at this site, and I thought I was finished, but I had a nudging, I believe from God, to walk a little farther. When I did, I was rewarded with this terrific scene. If I had not listened to that nudging, that "still small voice," that suggestion, I would have missed the best shot of the day. I realize that is not an earth-shaking matter that I got to take this picture, but it is important to me, and God knew it would be. He cared enough about me to encourage me forward. I think I need to look and listen daily for those small nudges from the Lord so that I may be enriched by the things that He knows I will appreciate and enjoy.
